How we handle your data
Last updated 2026-10-28.
What we collect
- Contact form. Name, email, the services you pick, your message, and a company and budget if you add them. We use it to reply to you and nothing else.
- Analytics. If you accept the analytics notice, we use PostHog to see which pages are visited and how the site performs. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell data.
- Booking. If you book a call, the scheduling provider processes your details under its own policy.
Where it goes
The site runs on Cloudflare. Before a form is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. Enquiries are then stored in Cactiq Relay, our own operations platform, and may be copied to our email. Analytics data is stored with PostHog. We do not share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our inbox as long as we are talking, then for our records. Ask and we will delete them.
Your choices
Decline analytics in the notice, or clear the choice in your browser storage to see it again. To access, correct or delete anything, email hello@cactiq.com.
Your rights in New Zealand
We handle personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. You can ask to see the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, email us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
